Members
The Nlets membership consists of one individual per state or federal agency and these members are called Nlets Representatives.
Principal Members include States, Commonwealths, and Territories and consist of lead law enforcement agencies. The membership is divided into eight regions throughout the U.S. and each region elects a chairperson to represent the region to the Board of Directors.
Federal Members include federal agencies with a law enforcement component. The Federal Representatives are placed in regions that have the fewest members in order to even the regions out.
Associate Members are organizations that provide assistance or information to law enforcement and/or criminal justice agencies but are not a law enforcement entity. Examples include the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, the National Insurance Crime Bureau, and others.
